Overview
Within Player ID, Privacy and Visibility are two separate settings that control how your profile is viewed.
Privacy settings control how other users interact with your profile inside the app. Visibility settings control whether your profile can be viewed outside of Player ID on the web.
Privacy Settings (In-App)
Setting your profile to Private limits how other users can view your profile within Player ID.
- Other users can still see your profile image, player card, username, and team logo
- Your full profile details and content are restricted
- You can accept or reject supporter (follow) requests
- You have more control who is able to message you
Visibility Settings (Web Profile)
Public Web Profiles are available to Pro users.
- Creates a public version of your profile accessible via a web link
- Allows your profile to be viewed outside the app in any web browser
- Helps increase exposure through search engines and sharing
To enable:
- Go to Menu → Privacy & Visibility → Public Web Profile
What Happens Next
- Private profiles limit in-app visibility but still exist within the Player ID network
- Public Web Profiles make your profile accessible outside the app
- Changes to these settings take effect immediately

I don’t want anyone to see my photos or content
- Player ID is a public platform designed for athlete exposure. If you’re not comfortable sharing content, you should not create or use an account.
Player ID isn’t private enough—how do I delete my account?
- If you no longer want your information on Player ID, go to Menu → Account Info → Delete Account.
How do I get my profile available through a web link?
- Upgrade to Pro and enable Public Web Profile in Menu → Privacy & Visibility to generate a shareable web profile.
