Overview

Animate is Player ID’s keyframe animation tool that makes zooms and pans incredibly easy.

Want to zoom in on a player? Pan across the ice or field while your clip plays?
Animate lets you create smooth, professional motion effects in just a few taps.

How It Works

Animate uses keyframes to define a start and end point for movement.

You set where the animation begins and ends, and Player ID automatically creates a smooth transition between those points.

Creating an Animation

  1. Move the playhead to where you want the animation to begin
  2. Tap the + Animate button
  3. Move the playhead to where you want the animation to end
  4. Use on-canvas controls to:
    • Zoom by scaling
    • Pan by moving the clip
  5. Tap Done

Your animation will automatically play back as a smooth zoom or pan.

Editing an Animation

  • Tap the diamond markers on the timeline
  • Adjust the start or end position of your animation
  • Update movement, scale, or position as needed

What You’ll See

  • Diamond icons on the timeline representing keyframes
  • Smooth motion between start and end points
  • Real-time preview of your animation

Important Notes

  • Animations are created between two keyframes (start and end)
  • Only the section between those points will animate
  • You can edit or remove animations at any time
